E-Mail Raw Headers
Explanation of what the raw headers are in an email:
Anything in an email that you see from your email client, web app or phone can be faked including the FROM: email address field. The raw headers that are recorded by all mail servers this email went through to get to us can not be faked. They tell us exactly the route this email took to get to us and exactly who sent it from the "ENVELOPE FROM" header (not the same as the FROM header you see in your email). That is why it is extremely important to send the raw headers along with the email body of the offending email in order for us to better junk or even block these types of emails.

In our webmail app (with the default theme of Elastic & Larry) you do this by:
1 - Open: https://webmail.kamansart.com in a web browser,
2 - Right click the spam/phishing email in question in the middle pane,
3 - Scroll down to "More",
4 - and Select "Show Source".
5 - COPY the entire contents and PASTE this data into the forwarded email to spam@kamansart.com for analysis.
In our webmail app (in the theme Classic) you do this by:
1 - Open: https://webmail.kamansart.com in a web browser,
2 - Left click the spam/phishing email in question in the middle pane,
3 - In the viewing pane on the right, click the "Headers" link under the Subject/From/To fields,
4 - Place your cursor in this box and with your left mouse button, select all the text in that box,
5 - Then press CTRL-C (to copy it),
6 - Now FORWARD the spam/phishing email in question to spam@kamansart.com,
7 - and now at the top of the email to spam@kamansart.com press CTRL-V (to paste the raw headers).
8 - Click SEND to send it to spam@kamansart.com for analysis.
For Thunderbird users do the following:
1 - Select the spam/phishing email in question,
2 - In the middle thin pane, you should see a "MORE" button, select it,
3 - Then Select "View Source".
4 - COPY the entire contents and PASTE this data into the forwarded email to spam@kamansart.com for analysis.
In Outlook on an Apple OS:
1 - RIGHT-Click on the spam/phishing email in question,
2 - On the pop-up menu select "View Source" or "Show Source",
3 - COPY the entire contents and PASTE this data into the forwarded email to spam@kamansart.com for analysis.
In Outlook on a Windows OS:
1 - Double-click the spam/phishing email in question to open it outside of the Reading Pane.
2 - Click File > Properties (in middle of window),
3 - Header information appears in the Internet headers box.
4 - Place your cursor in this box and press CTRL-A (selcting all text),
5 - Then press CTRL-C (to copy it),
6 - Now FORWARD the spam/phishing email in question to spam@kamansart.com,
7 - and now at the top of the email to spam@kamansart.com press CTRL-V (to paste the raw headers).
8 - Click SEND to send it to spam@kamansart.com for analysis.
